A guide for small shops

How much does a menu design cost in the Philippines?

You need a new menu — new prices, a new item, maybe just something that looks cleaner than the handwritten board. Here is what the realistic options cost, in pesos, and what each one actually gets you.

Freelance designer: ₱150 to ₱350 a piece

In Facebook groups and Pages, individual designers advertise simple layouts from around ₱150 to ₱200, food menus around ₱350, and bigger jobs higher. The catch is rarely the price — it is the process. You message back and forth on Messenger, wait days, chase for revisions, and most designers ask for payment before you have seen anything. If they go quiet, you have no draft and no money back.

Canva: free, but it eats an evening

Doing it yourself in Canva costs nothing, and if you enjoy design it is a fair deal. The honest problem is time and taste: picking a template is quick, but making it match your colors, fitting your actual dish list, and exporting a print-ready file usually takes a whole evening, and the result often still looks homemade.

Print shop layout fee: bundled, not quoted

Many tarpaulin and print shops will “include the layout” when you print with them. That is convenient, but you only find out what you get after you have committed to their print price, and you rarely get the source files to reuse for your feed or your next promo.

Our own price: ₱500, preview free

RaiLensMan charges a fixed ₱500 for a menu design. You describe your dishes, prices and colors in a short form, and we generate a watermarked draft you can see on screen within minutes — free, before any payment. If you like it, you pay the fixed price and a real person checks and polishes the design before the final print-ready PNG and PDF files are delivered to you within 24 hours. The same fixed-price idea covers the other things a shop needs: posters, promo graphics and business cards at ₱150 to ₱300 each, and tarps quoted at up to ₱1,500 depending on size.

Which option is right for you: if you enjoy designing, use Canva. If your cousin knows Photoshop and replies quickly, use them. If you want it done this week without chasing anyone on Messenger, that is what we built — start with the free preview on our home page.
